MYHEAT electric underfloor heating - installation and use
Electric underfloor heating from MYHEAT is quick and easy to install.
If you are using our cable mats, all you have to do is:
- Roll out the electric underfloor heating mat
- Cut the mesh backing at the end of a run
- Encapsulate the cable mat in self-levelling compound
- Lay the flooring.
For the film:
- Roll out the lengths
- Cut any excess at the scissor marks
- Cover with vapour barrier
- Lay the flooring.
Finally, for heating cables:
- Loop the cable up and down the room
- Tape down the cable
- Ensure that gaps of 50mm are left between cable loops
- Cover in self-levelling compound
- Lay the flooring.
